Thomas' First Birthday...Down with the Ducky
RUBBER DUCKY TIME...Yesterday we had Tommy's First birthday party with some friends. It was so fun...except for the weather. We ended up having to have it at the church...bummer. Everything was Rubber Ducky, including his invitation and announcement. We stuck with the theme, since that seems to be the only thing that really excites the kid when he sees one.
We made him a cool shirt to wear all day
He is doing his "sexy" pose here
Rob actually painted this rubber ducky for the "Pin the Beak on the Rubber Ducky". I was so impressed with his skills.
Our "Ducky" punch...with floating duckies
Ducky cupcakes
And Thomas' cake... Yes, I did make this...
I realized later I created a clean freak...he doesn't like to get dirty that much...
Finally I just threw him in it...Then he went for it! I'm waiting for an all blue diaper in the next few days if you catch my drift!
Thomas we are so glad you are our little boy! We love you to pieces and don't know what we would do without you. We hope this next year will be better than your first year...with less crying!

Guy Smiley
Kate went home to California for the week, so I've been rollin' stag/third-wheel for the past week and the majority of the time has been mind-numbing boring. Luckily her little brother, Collin, keeps me up to date with pictures via our handy-dandy iPhones. Here's a pic of Thomas gut laughing at the dog, Madsen. He thinks dogs are hilarious and he'll laugh for hours as they stroll back and forth. Madsen, on the other hand, does not find it humorous in the least.

Easter Bunny
Our friend Sarah sent us this card and said it reminded her of Rob...those of you who know Rob know why she said that...We had a bunny visit here too...SOME BUNNY VERY CUTE...I know that was beyond cheesy...I think it happens after I watch the TLC channel and the Duggers are on? Anyways, Thomas wasn't to happy with me making him wear bunny ears...but wont it be cute for his baby book? The things we do to our kids that we will eventually end up paying for in years to come therapy bills...
Thomas has his top tooth in, and his second top tooth is coming in right now...and pretty far from the first. Rob said he will call him "Buck tooth Bertha".
